Japanese society places great emphasis on productivity and achievement, that many modern Christian men and women face a profound identity crisis.
For women, the pressure to continue to “contribute” economically makes it difficult for many of them to accept the role of housewife with joy.
For men, an equally serious crisis has occurred: they have lost their sense of direction and leadership. They avoid risks, no longer dare to take full responsibility, and choose a stable but passive life.
Both of these crises stem from the same root: modern people has lost the foundation of his identity in God. Only the Gospel can restore the true calling of men and women.
